Syncytium
Explainer Animation / Product pitch
Commercial brand (EMS operations software)
Summary:
A fast-paced pitch animation that made an unbuilt platform feel real and credible in 60 seconds.
Use case: Early-stage pitching, investor conversations, and events
Tools: Figma, Sketch, Adobe After Effects, Adobe Premiere Pro, Frame.io
Workflow: Client supplied rough script. Script refined across approx 5 iterations. Built to allow easy screen swaps as UI evolved
Production time: Invoice total: 8.8 days
The Challenge:
Syncytium needed a promo or launch style video to support investor pitching before the product was fully built. The platform is technical and abstract, and there was no real footage available. The video had to feel professional and real, communicate core features quickly, and stay easy to understand for non-technical investors. Because the UI was still in development, the team also needed the flexibility to update screens without rebuilding the full animation.
The Approach:
The video was built around a clear, feature-led narrative supported by voiceover, tight pacing, and strong motion hierarchy.
UI screens from Figma and Sketch were brought into After Effects and animated with dynamic camera movement. To protect future updates, the animation was designed as a modular system where screens could be swapped quickly as the product evolved.
A key creative goal was showing the product in real-world scenarios even before launch. That required VFX and scene tracking, placing the UI onto devices and environments like ambulance consoles and hospital settings using stock footage and generated clips.
The Results:
The finished piece gave the team a tangible, investor-ready way to demonstrate what the product is and how it fits into real workflows, instead of having to describe it verbally. The project was built to remain useful as the UI evolves, with the ability to drop in updated screens over time.
Investor-ready clarity
Core workflow and feature set communicated in a tight 60-second pitch format.
Modular screen system
Built so UI screens can be swapped as the product evolves without redoing the whole animation.
Real-world VFX moments
Tracked UI into realistic scenarios to make the platform feel tangible before launch.
